Biotechnology Research Center Explores Activation of a Cooperation Mechanism with the College of Engineering
The Director General of the Center, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mahmoud Farhan, received the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Jumaa Salman Jiyad, during his visit to the center.
The visit aimed to strengthen academic and research collaboration between the two sides, contributing to the development of joint research projects, utilizing modern technologies in biological and engineering fields, offering training opportunities for students, and promoting innovation in areas such as genetic engineering, nanotechnology, and artificial intelligence in medical applications. This will enhance the ability to address future challenges in modern sciences.
The visit was attended by Professor Dr. Hazem Ismail Abdul Bari, Head of the Department of Environmental Biotechnology, Dr. Haitham Ouda Mohammed, Head of the Animal House Unit, and Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Salam Tawfiq Dawood, the Coordinator of Cooperation Mechanisms at the center. The available services of the Animal House Unit and important services and modern technologies in the scientific departments, which benefit both parties in conducting practical and purposeful research, were presented
