Field Visit
The Center for Biotechnology Research hosted fourth-year students from the Department of Life Sciences, College of Science, University of Baghdad.
The visit aimed to provide brief lectures on laboratory operations, delivered by laboratory supervisors, focusing on key laboratory techniques and methods. These included a simplified explanation of DNA extraction methods, gel electrophoresis, animal cell culture techniques, the use of ELISA equipment, and various other laboratory devices. Additionally, the students were introduced to the incubator environment, plant handling procedures, and methods of storage and preservation to prevent damage
